This tool allows practitioners to filter 'forces' from the European General Data Protection Regulation. Through forces, we explain aspects which affect the design of a compliant solution. Taking note of these forces does not guarantee compliance, but streamlines it. We categorize these GDPR Forces as follows:

• - Whether you can process personal data Grounds;
• - How you should go about it Special and General Obligations, Rights, and Principles; as well as
• - Further explanation Considerations.

The tool provides a wizard and overview of the answers you choose within it. In the filtered and collapsible list this generates, you can further filter (only) or expand the results (all) with categories. Only showing forces in selected categories helps to highlight notable forces, but hides less notable forces which still apply. You can also stop showing a force, or a group of forces, by clicking the 'x' to the right of them. This stays in effect until you reload the page.
